Norman Bores, Program Manager and Staff Chemist

Norman Bores is the Program Manager and Staff Chemist for the ORNL Intercomparison Studies Laboratory (ISP). He has 30 years of experience in radiobioassay beginning his career as an ISP chemist. In his current role, he is responsible for evaluating and applying accepted practices to ISP operations using recognized standards and technical judgement. He calculates uncertainties for the ISP process and verifies the technical validity of the ISP practices and operations. Norm received a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1999 and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Tennessee, Martin in 1990.
